stop and stare

I'm back from Band camp. Don't think American Pie. Well I can't remember what really happened on friday but I know that I went for Math Make up. Anyway, band camp started at 5.30pm. We practiced our musical from 9 to around 11.30pm. I was very tired so I actually slept quite early, say 12.30am? Yeah. Who sleeps so early during band camp.

Woke up at 6.45 on Saturday Morning. The band room was freezing at night. Practiced Suite on Celtic Folksongs and Festive Overture. Everything is getting together. Then westside story for the J1 batch. I think the notes for westside story are horrifically high. If there's such a word. The horn part is rather tough. I need to stop putting so much pressure on my lips with my mouthpiece. It's bad. Hopefully the batch piece would sound nice as we got the scores quite late. About 2 and 1/2 weeks before the concert! Musical practice at night again. Saturday was such a tiring day. I was falling asleep during warm ups, tuning and the short breaks. Haha. What a pig. However, I went to the track after my shower and took pictures with Jing Er, Belinda, Yiling, Ivan and Tengteng. After that we tried to watch Across the Universe but it was not suited for the tiring atmosphere. I played the sleeping bag game with Yiling and Jiahao. We jumped around with our sleeping bags trying to knock each other down. Felt more awake. Anyway, I fell asleep while watching the Simpsons.

Sunday morning. I felt even more tired. Again. I was falling asleep during tuning, warm ups and the breaks. American in Paris! Gah. I'm totally fine with this song now cause I can play it! We had j1 sectionals, then debrief.

Had my broadway Ban Mian and cabbed home. Slept. Dinner. Helped a little with Gpp. Blog. Gonna sleep. I feel very guilty for not helping the gpp enough. Anyway, nights.
